Keirina Boykin of Washington DC was arrested Thursday, Feb. 22 and charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, Hyattsville Police said. She was also identified as a suspect in a local armed robbery.
Boykin is accused of assaulting the pregnant woman near the 6400 block of America Blvd. in Hyattsville around 7:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28.
She was identified less than 24 hours after police posted video of the attack on social media.
Boykin was being held without bond at the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
“The Chief wants to personally send his thanks to the public for its role in helping to identify this suspect,” Hyattsville Police said. “We greatly appreciate all the sharing and effort made by all.”
